● 一直以來對翻唱歌曲沒有花什麼心思研究，然而每每不經意聽到，幾乎都能立刻被吸引住，甚至不時會覺得比原曲更好聽。主因當然是原曲老早已在腦裡建好基模，留下了深深的紋路，一旦經由另一種方式被喚起，總像一道已經完成的好菜，最後加上一味香料，新添了一層獨特的氣味。

例如前一陣子Jarvis Cocker來台，最後和楊乃文來了一曲David Bowie的Space Oddity，就讓許多人散場後仍然回味無窮，我也因為手賤想找找看有沒有其他更好的版本，因而發現了Secondhand Songs這個翻唱作品的大型資料庫。裡面一口氣包含了86925 首曲子和接近30000組藝人，但會被列入的標準在於該翻唱者有無正式發行過該首歌，所以像那天Jarvis Cocker演唱會中唱的曲子就不會被列在其中。
